Adaptations

  • The Archie's frog is between 31 - 37 mm long
  • It makes chirps and yelps when it is threatened
  • It has got tail wagging muscles but no tail
  • It has no external eardrum
How the Archie's Frogs adaptations aid its survival.
  • The Archie's frogs length will help it to survive as it won't have to have as much food so it will be able to survive longer when there's a lack of food. This is a Structural adaptation.
  • When the Archie's frog is threatened it makes chirps and yelps which will scare away predators and it won't get eaten. This is a Behavioral adaptation.
  • Having a tail wagging muscle won't help aid it's survival. This is a Functional adaptation.
  • Having no external eardrum will help it survive long because the eardrum won't get damaged from a twig so the Archie frog will still be able to hear predators coming. This is a Structural adaptation.
